COLLECTING: STAR WARS 15-19, Annual #1"
The third installment of the series mainly deals with Princess Leia as she delivers a new inmate to a secret rebel prison when it is attacked by a mysterious individual looking to break out Imperials. It was nice to see Leia in her own storyline and kicking butt, especially since I read this not long after the real Princess Leia, Carrie Fisher, passed away.
The story has Luke and Han on a supply run that has a few bumps along the way. Their story doesn't really add anything to the lore of the characters but does go to show that Han can still get out of sticky situations why crackin' wise at Luke as their best laid plans fall around their ears.
This volume also includes another short regarding Obi Wan's life on Tatooine as he looks after Luke from afar as he grows up and eventually they meet. The story isn't as memorable the previous short story found in volume 2 but it is a great bonus. The artwork is also really well done.
Overall 7/10
